Last night we stayed in the Lantern room of Villa Augustus!

The Lantern room is a magnificent room in the former reservoir of the water tower with a panoramic view.

We had pretty stormy(!) weather high up in the tower, which made ​​the stay even more special.

This weekend we stayed at Villa Augustus, in a water tower room on the third floor with a beautiful view. Looking out from the hotelroom windows, we could see the major rivers of Dordrecht. The room was colorful, comfortable and homely and we would have loved to stay all week.
Delicious food, sleep late and eat breakfast in the hotel room, what bliss! We really enjoyed every single minute!

Henk (my love) & I do not celebrate Valentine's Day today.

In 1986 we met on February 15 for the very first time.
(as far as I can remember Valentine's Day did not even 'exist' in the Netherlands at that time...)

Tomorrow we celebrate our anniversary day in Antwerp and stay in Boulevard Leopold.
