Rotterdam - 3rd of December

Mother-daugther Tuesday, starting with an American breakfast at By Jarmusch. A cup of Joe (freshly brewed filter coffee) and delicious pancakes, served with maple syrup and butter. Well we could skip lunch today...

After breakfast we had a side by side appointment at our hairdresser Daniel. Both somewhat blonder and a very necessary fresh haircut.

The entire garden, including furniture, is covered by golden ginkgo leaves. What splendor! Nature does the best designs of all.

Easter Monday - 22nd of April

Second day at the beach this year and sunniest and warmest Easter ever.

Like two days ago on Good Friday, we went to the Noordzee coast to spend a few hours on the beach.

Exactly long enough to enjoy a day at the beach without suffering from sunburn afterwards. And to avoid the traffic jam and arrive home on time, to spend the rest of the day in the backyard, to end this splendid Easter weekend with a lovely outdoor dinner.

My favorite place in the house is the kitchen.

The light is beautiful because there are many windows. And since the new Moroccan tiles are on the wall, the light is even brighter, still on a cloudy day like today.

cappuccino, cake & crochet

Een haakworkshop in het huiskamer-restaurantje van Nobel's Brood, op dinsdag 24 februari van 9:00 tot 11:30 uur.

De prachtige bakkerswinkel is gevestigd in een eeuwenoud pand aan één van de mooiste straten van Dordrecht, Grotekerksbuurt 53.

De workshop is voor dames (en heren) die de haakbeginselen al beheersen en van mij nog wel wat nieuwe haak trucjes willen leren.

Nobel's Brood zorgt voor vrolijke bloemen op tafel, 2 warme dranken voor iedereen en iets zoets. Ik zorg voor een haaknaald (deze mag je houden) en wol.

Uiteraard mag je jouw eigen haak-project van die ochtend mee naar huis nemen om (eventueel) thuis af te maken.

Kosten: € 17,50 per persoon.
