We celebrated the longest day with a tiny midsummer dinner party for friends.

We were hoping for a warm summer evening with a dinner in the garden, but it rained most of the day, so we enjoyed the midsummer party in our kitchen.
The chef cooked a great summer meal and we enjoyed the longest day with a lovely bunch of people.

We cooked a summer dinner for our dear friends on Friday!
The food was delicious and the evening was so enjoyable and special in many ways.

The corn flowers on the table, I especially picked for Chris, because I know she likes the color so much!

We had a lovely evening with friends and enjoyed the summer dinner with the delicious dishes from our favorite cookbook Souk.

The pretty peonies from the market on both sides of the table looked great and the adorable bouquet of Sweet Peas Lammie brought along.

There's nothing like a dinner in good company at a beautifully set table.

Outside all day long!
Sitting in the shade of the cork trees. Preparing meals together. Breakfast, lunch and dinner in the open air. Back to basic and living in nature. That's the best part of camping!
