lilac knitted one-piece sweater

knitted sweater lilac

First autumn day and I am in the mood to knit. Do you recognize this behavior?

I found some soft lilac yarn at Zeeman, named Julia and I decided to knit a new one-piece sweater.

It goes pretty fast with knitting needle 8mm and it's super easy to knit this one-piece sweater.

My new favorite color is lilac. It started with my lilac jumpsuit that I bought in Vienna in March. Since then I notice that it is slowly becoming my favorite color. Lilac looks great with many colors.

You can find the knitted one-piece sweater pattern in my Etsy shop. The Julia yarn is also available in other beautiful colors, in case you are not to keen about lilac. You need about 6 balls of Julia yarn for the sweater.

the grand ginkgo finale

golden week in november golden week in november golden week in november golden week in november golden week in november golden week in november golden week in november golden week in november golden week in november

The golden week in November.

An impressive end of the yellow Ginkgo leaves in the frontyard.

After an endless summer, we are now treated to beautiful crisp autumn weather. The sun turns the yellow autumn leaves into gold.

The ginkgo tree in the frontyard is always at it's best this season and this year it seems even better.

and the Helleborus is almost ready to bloom...

Beanie season has started!

Would you like to wear a moroccan beanie this season?

Have a look in my E T S Y shop, choose your favorite one and support Aisha, my sweet friend and hardworking woman from Place des Epices.

Those colorful handmade moroccan beanies I didn't make myself, they are all handmade by Aisha from Marrakech.

golden gingko garden

I'm enchanted by the gingko tree in our front garden.

The golden leaves were hanging on the tree slightly longer than a week this fall.

Now there is a yellow gingko rug in the front yard; so awesome!

It's a gorgeous sight, the chemical changes and autumn beauty, every year again!

wood & wool midi skirt pattern

A feminine midi skirt for fall and winter!

Besides the Dutch pattern, the wood & wool midi skirt pattern is now also available in ENGLISH.

In 2008 I designed a striped midi skirt. The skirt was almost as popular as the star boots...
Last week I made a new woolen skirt in grey. It's warm and very comfortable to wear.

A few balls of wool, a hook and a couple of 'crochet days' is all you need to make the midi skirt. It's a fun fall fashion project!

PS: for all Dutch readers. Het patroon is ook verkrijgbaar in het Nederlands ;)

warm wee wear

wood & wool wearwood & wool wearwood & wool wearwood & wool wear

Brandnew mittens! I've made myself some fingerless mittens, for the fall season.
The pair of wrist worms by Sandra Juto I've bought some years ago, are favorite this time of year. I love to wear them!

I do like my wood & wool wee wear design so much and thought it would be great to make myself a wee pair of mittens!

They've become even cuter I had hoped and are nice and warm! So now there's some wee wear for everyone!
