pineapples & good vibes

April 28, last afternoon in Marrakech;

♦ all the cool crocheteers leaving Marrakech one by one
♦ saying goodbye to all the lovely people after the very special experience was emotional...
♦ we've made new friends in Marrakech and had so much fun together
♦ souvenir shopping in the souk
♦ we bought a beautiful authentic Berber rug from a very sweet man
♦ walked along a pineapple stall and bought one (juiciest ever)
♦ traveling is awesome and you get so much inspiration
♦ fallen in love with Marrakech again
♦ I'm grateful and happy to come back for the next workshop in October

lazy afternoon

April 27, Marrakech;

♦ after a morning stroll on the Berber market, it was time for a lazy Sunday afternoon in a beautiful garden
♦ everyone nestled down on a lounger in the shade of the olive trees
♦ occasionally having a refreshing swim in the pool
♦ what could be better than crochetting on a lazy lounger
♦ or just enjoy and relax with a lemonade and take a nap
♦ a workshop does not always mean you have to work...
♦ we had a wonderful afternoon with a fantastic bunch of folks

Another tropical day at home...

In paris we went together in the photo booth twice.
First at the Palais de Tokyo and later that day at Bonton on Boulevard Beaumarchais. At Bonton there was even a dress-up box with wigs and weird glasses, we found out after the photos were taken.

Minne, the oldest, is a journalism student and writes weekly sports reports for the newspaper.
Recently he asked me, to take his picture for a press card.
Sure, I said.
At the moment I took the camera he could not possibly get a serious face.
We had lots of fun. I don't know which photo he finally chose for his press card.
I chose the last blurry one of half Minne to frame.

What a great idea; multicolored hands.

I've some red, pink and blue jeans nail polish in my collection, not enough for this effect, but it would be fun to try.
