julia sweater - knitting pattern

knitted julia sweater knitted julia sweater

The JULIA sweater.

A new knitting pattern designed for the JULIA yarn by Zeeman, a Dutch textile super.
Julia yarn is available in 10 different colors; off-white, gray, green, lilac, yellow, red, pink, bordeaux, ocher, blue, baby blue and black. I chose lilac.

When you are a beginning knitter and you would like to knit something else than just a scarf, this is the perfect project for you!

I'm sure you are able to complete this easy-level project.
The sweater is reversible, knitted in one piece, so there are no seems on the shoulder. Both sides have a different look.

It's a great pattern for advanced knitters too, because the tricky part of putting your knitted sweater together, is a lot easier.

You can download the Julia sweater pattern in my ETSY SHOP.

lilac knitted one-piece sweater

knitted sweater lilac

First autumn day and I am in the mood to knit. Do you recognize this behavior?

I found some soft lilac yarn at Zeeman, named Julia and I decided to knit a new one-piece sweater.

It goes pretty fast with knitting needle 8mm and it's super easy to knit this one-piece sweater.

My new favorite color is lilac. It started with my lilac jumpsuit that I bought in Vienna in March. Since then I notice that it is slowly becoming my favorite color. Lilac looks great with many colors.

You can find the knitted one-piece sweater pattern in my Etsy shop. The Julia yarn is also available in other beautiful colors, in case you are not to keen about lilac. You need about 6 balls of Julia yarn for the sweater.

mix don't match

mix don't match - checkered spencer - knitting pattern

N E W in the Etsy shop: CHECKERED SPENCER knitting pattern!

The woolen spencer has been out of fashion for a long time, but it actually is a stylish item for colder months. You can simply mix it with anything. Wear it over a t-shirt with long sleeves or under a jacket or cardigan. It's perfect with a skirt, but can also be combined with pants, even with Adidas track pants ;-)

Mix, don't match. Everything is possible.

The spencer with my favorite harlequins is an easy to follow knitting pattern.
This knitted checkered spencer is knitted in one piece, easy to make in no time.

If you need a spencer in your winter wardrobe, you can download the SPENCER PATTERN in my Etsy shop. Available in English and Dutch version.

checkered spencer - knitting pattern

woodwoolstool checkered spencer knitting pattern

N E W in the Etsy shop: CHECKERED SPENCER knitting pattern!

The woolen spencer has been out of fashion for a long time, but it actually is a great piece for fall and winter. You can easily combine it with anything. Wear it over a t-shirt with long sleeves or under a jacket or cardigan. It's perfect with a skirt, but can also be combined with pants.

Preferably wear it with a tartan item, everything is possible, the crazier the better...

The spencer with my favorite harlequins is an easy to follow knitting pattern.
This knitted checkered spencer is knitted in one piece.

For this spencer I've used tweed yarn in dusky pink and dark green. You can buy the tweed yarn for example at the Dutch textile super brand Zeeman and it's one of my favorite yarns. It's machine washable, super soft and comfortable to wear.

You can download the SPENCER PATTERN in my Etsy shop. Available in English and Dutch version.

instant inspiration

wool BAZAR

Inspiration comes instantly when I enter my new workspace.

The wool from the B A Z A R seem to call; pick me, pick me...

The newly designed spencers I knitted recently turned out so cool! I'm writing the pattern and will show the new knitted spencers soon.

In the meantime my new 'atelier' is beginning to take shape. So far it's already so much fun to be here and I get loads of inspiration in this space...

bring on the wool wardrobe!

bring on the wool wardrobe

The woolen winter collection has been brought out from the attic again.

I could easily 'live' in these homemade sweaters and cardigans from now on.

The loopy cardigan and tweed yarn sweaters I made in previous years.

Right now I'm knitting a harlequin spencer, a project that I started shortly before I went to Marrakech and continued last week. It's almost finished, I only have to 'design' the neck and put it together.

You can find the patterns of this whole pile in my ETSY SHOP. So if you fancy a homemade sweater or cardigan? Have a look at the patterns, download your favorite one and...

palmtree sweater

N E W in the Etsy shop: KNITTED PALMTREE SWEATER PATTERN

A super easy to follow pattern, even for beginner knitters.

This knitted palmtree sweater is knitted in one piece. The sweater is reversible and has no seems on the shoulder. Both sides have a different look.

For the palmtree sweater I've used an oatmeal tweed yarn, from the Dutch textile super brand Zeeman (one of my favorite yarns). It's machine washable, super soft and comfortable to wear. Yesterday evening I was wearing my palmtree sweater for the first time.

The perfect end-of-summer-sweater, but hey you can wear it all year round!

You can download the KNITTED PALMTREE SWEATER PATTERN in my Etsy shop. Available in English and Dutch version.

winter knitwear

dusty pink knitted sweater pattern dusty pink knitted sweater pattern dusty pink knitted sweater pattern dusty pink knitted sweater pattern dusty pink knitted sweater pattern

Winter knitwear. I really l O V E it.

The dusty pink sweater I've made with the same pattern as the striped sweater I've knitted last year.
What I like about this sweater is the loose fit and basic look. It's a woolen sweater, but you can wear it underneath a jacket and it's not too warm, but warm enough to be your favorite winter wear.
I've been wearing the black and natural colored sweater dress a few seasons and I like the shorter sweater version just as much.
You can find the winter wardrobe patterns in my Etsy shop.

Try to make one yourself, because nothing beats homemade winterwear.
It's not difficult at all, even for a beginner...

knit purl repeat

knit purl repeat knit purl repeat

Knit purl repeat.

Best way for me to relax is to knit (or crochet of course).

Did you know crochet and knitting boost relaxation for nearly everyone who picks up hooks and needles?

This is the new sweater I'm working on (see previous post). I will make a shorter version of the knitted sweater dress for a change, in a great colour that goes with everything.

So I'm knitting on the rug; knitpurlrepeat...
