Oodles of palms.

When it comes to collecting, I'm sure I'm guilty of it.

Lately I noticed that there are pretty much palm trees in the house, yet unobtrusive many palm trees. At least that's my opinion.

What is too much?

To me it feels organically grown over time, through travel, special souvenirs, handmade items, clothing and gifts from friends that know your 'palmtree passion'.

I arranged my ‘palm objects’ in a tiny palmtree photo report. And I have to admit I couldn't find so quickly photos of the metal moroccan palmtree hanger in the bedroom and the palmtree frisbee in the living and...

Two of my favorite patterns.

I've made two matching pillows in matching patterns recently.
And they look so good together.

spinning around

It sometimes occures I'm starting a crochet project without knowing what it's gonna be.

I like that stage, it's only the beginning of 'something' and still can become anything.
This 'project' is an example of starting something.

After making lots of square and oblong objects, i felt like making something round again.
So I'm crochetting, making rounds and rounds and rounds and rounds and rounds and I suddenly had a cute curtain for the round window in my vintage cupboard.
No, that's not it! Or perhaps a bottom for a bag?

For a while it was just nothing again, simply making lovely colorful round stripes on the garden bench.
I went on spinning around and came to the conclusion it will be just another pillow project after all.
We don't have a round pillow in the house yet, so it's about time...
The sunny stripes also would look great on the garden bench I guess.

skip strip

Skip strip is a new member of the wood & wool pillow family.

Besides the small and large harlequin pillow, i've designed a new graphic pillow. It's a strip that skips in a different color, continuously... The pillow is reversible and has different colors on both sides.

growing harlequins

Parallel projects (I like that) I am currently working on. Growing harlequins in bright and pastel colors. I'm making some new harlequin pillows. They will be soon in the shop.

This morning I did not have to get up early and lazed on my around the world pillow (cute pillow-swap with Stof Enzo), I made a wood & wool fringe hanger for a Californian baby and Henk brought me some super scrapwood from his today's wood hunt.
