palmtree having its moment

golden palm tree golden palm tree golden palm tree golden palm tree golden palm tree

Palmtree travel shoebag.

From one of the tryouts of the upcoming cool crochet workshop projects, I've made a matching travel shoe bag for my golden palm tree slingback pumps.
I attached one of the tiny CC palm projects to a linen shoe bag.

Those small bags are ideal for traveling; you can put in your lingerie, shoes, toiletries and loose parts in your suitcase, which makes it easier to pack and organize your travel luggage.

The bag completely fits into my 'golden palm phase'...

instant inspiration

moroccan wool moroccan wool

First Monday morning in March and I'm in the middle of all kinds of preparations for next month's workshops in Marrakech.

I am working on another new design for a daily cool crochet project.

Spring sun is on turn now (after a harsh winter week) and as soon as I open the wool locker, inspiration comes naturally.

Shiny gold yarn for a bit of holiday cheers, flaunting on the wool locker.

my heart goes bamboom

my heart goes bamboom my heart goes bamboom

Some weeks ago we spotted this vintage bamboo chair in a wonderful bric à brac boutique and my heart went bamboom!

We took it home and now it's standing in the livingroom, my heart goes bamboom bamboom.
The seat is a bit low (just how i like it) and is a perfect coffee/read/knit/crochet chair.

The portrait of our son Minne when he was only 3 years old, also makes my heart jump. It was made 20 years ago in France and I do remember the cute curly blond boy, like it was yesterday.

world & wool cupboard

world & wool cupboard

In October I'm going to run the second workshop of this year and I'm already looking forward to returning to Marrakech.
At the moment I'm working on a new project for the cool crochet workshop.
I will use the wool I brought back from Marrakech last April. I wanted to make a woven wall hanging with it actually, but now I have a new colorful crochet project in mind...

All the yarn moved from a tiny white cabinet to the middle section of the locker.

New year, new round, new storage!
Yesterday evening I suddenly felt like reorganizing my wool stock.
Starting with the Whites on top - felt a strong Instagram need by then - I was already over the moon.

I am absolutely satisfied with the result!
The two outer sections of the locker are packed with books, maps, postcards, records, stuff and things. Potential storage for 'attic' wool & moroccan yarn strands...
...and yet always hungry for more yarn.

Fortunately it's a harmless addiction.
