Every peg is made of a unique piece of scrapwood with 3 colored double plastic Moroccan hooks.

No sunset is the same.
Whether it’s the colors, the clouds or the scenery each one has something unique about it.
The last night of our roadtrip we experienced a Mediterranean sunset in Marseille.
On the rooftop of the magnificent building Le Corbusier. Perfect for viewing the sunset!

loopy patchwork pillow

This is the result of the loopy patchwork project.

I was surprised by the effect of the patchwork of fifteen loopy squares of different yarns and colors.
Easy to make those tiny projects (less easy to make it a pillow though).

Oh and I don't mind the socket and light switches...

Sweet summer flowers. We need it. Since our return from the sunny south, summer in the Netherlands is not what we were hoping for.
I guess we can all use a ray of French Summer...

a hat for peer

A hat for Peer.

The parents of baby boy Peer (which means pear), asked me if I could make a pear hat for their son.

The pear shape was not as easy as I thought, but once I found it, I liked that fruity beanie so much and made another one for the S N O R - F E S T I V A L on September 21.

roadtrip - casa migdia

During our roadtrip in July we spent a week at Casa Migdia.
A most charming small hotel with only 5 rooms in a village near Girona.
We stayed in room Carmen with a roof terrace and a beautiful green bathroom with a bathtub on legs.
We had a great time and enjoyed the charm of this part of Catalonia and fell in love with this place...
