A collection of ropes we found in the last two weeks.
During our first day on the most south-eastern beach of the Algarve, we found lots of small fishing rope pieces.
A day later we went to the Natural Park Ria Formosa (one of the 7 Natural Wonders of Portugal). On the barrier islands, which only can be reached with small boats, once again we found many pieces of rope and orange floating corks.
So we started to collect them on each beach visit during our roadtrip in Portugal.
At home I have washed the ropes in the baththub and here they are drying on the bathroom floor. I will put them in a big glass jar as a beautiful souvenir of our holiday.
Vooral die kleuren zijn prachtig!
ReplyDeletezoveel kleuren blauw :)
DeleteI do the same thing with pieces of frosted glass I found every summer on the beach. I've got a bottle xxl to put them inside year after year.
ReplyDeleteWe are 'collectors' and we this way we make the beaches a bit more clean ;)
DeleteWat je zegt, wij strandjutters. Ik heb deze blauwe en turqoise 'vervuilende' stukjes plastic in 6 weken verzameld. Zo'n ander gevoel als je het vindt, blij ipv ergernis...
