pittura di percolatore
My newest painting is our blown-up percolator for the kitchen, a tribute to our new ritual.
At the beginning of this year, we started drinking moka coffee in the afternoon and it soon became our daily ritual. Slow coffee at the kitchen table, a slow life moment that we both look forward to and enjoy together.
After the lemon painting I was looking for a new subject to paint for our kitchen wall. Because the lemon ended up in the daybed corner in the livingroom in the end.
I came across a percolator print on the instagram account of @picame and liked the drawing of the artist Meredith Ann a lot, cause they resemble the colors in our kitchen. The moroccan bread baskets, the golden yellow of our Zelliges tiles and our bright blue kitchen chair.
On many more 'dolce vita' coffee moments together, per favore...
Wow, prachtig gemaakt!! Koffie is altijd een goed idee.
ReplyDeleteAdorable! I love the sound of your ritual.
ReplyDeleteIk vind 'm supermooi geworden!
ReplyDeleteI am Italian and every day I make coffee with the coffee pot several times .. please do not call it a "percolatore" but coffee pot or moka .. this is its name known all over the world. Moka!
