Napels - Sunday 2nd of June - 37657 steps

Waking up very early to the sound of the seagulls and the magical soft light of this sunday morning sunrise. Buongiorno Vesuvio!

While the cheerfully colored Italian beach beds at Bagno Elena and Bagno Ideal are lined up straight in front of us, we are having breakfast with a view!

After our first espresso & characteristic sweet Italian breakfast, an uphill morning walk to take a closer look at the Posillipo district and book a table at Ristorante Reginella for tonight. And from here, a breathtaking view of Golfo di Napoli as reward for the hill we climbed.

Via Chiaia to Quartieri Spagnoli, perhaps the most famous district of Naples, with colorful streets full of street art, shops, restaurants and above all, Maradona.

We walk without a plan and enjoy the Napoli-spectacle with as many breaks as possible on terraces.

After a moment of rest at home and after sunset, up the hill of Posillipo again for dinner. This time with an extra challenge, on heels.
