The woolen spencer has been out of fashion for a long time, but it actually is a stylish item for colder months. You can simply mix it with anything. Wear it over a t-shirt with long sleeves or under a jacket or cardigan. It's perfect with a skirt, but can also be combined with pants, even with Adidas track pants ;-)

The spencer with my favorite harlequins is an easy to follow knitting pattern.

running

I'm kind of addicted to running.
Every week I have to run and if I do not manage for some reason, I really miss it.
This morning the weather was so lovely, we seem to have real Indian summer...
I always run in the open air, with music.
It's free and I can run whenever I feel like running.

I must admit I prefer to wear my sneakers daily and not only while running!
Too bad for the heels...

I'm a bit proud of the beautiful item in Jamie Magazine #8, about the garden (which is now so incredibly beautiful) and the kitchen of Villa Augustus (with recipes and a tiny picture of moi).

Over the years the wool cabinet has become full. Not just full, the cabinet is bursting with wool.

At the spring brocante in Amsterdam I found the solution; an old sorter cabinet with sixty-four compartments!

Most of them are already filled with colorful yarns.

This last Marrakech post is about the delicious traditional Moroccan dishes we have consumed on the Jemee-el-Fna square. Here I am sipping my Harira soup.

The best thing about eating on the square, is that you sit down somewhere for a soup and have the next dish somewhere else. The restaurant stands are great to enjoy the Moroccan kitchen. The atmosphere is unique and we have had lots of food and fun on the square.

Marrakech, what a city! We will certainly return...

Oh and next time it's about wood and wool and stools again.

Since the super sofa arrived,
I get happy everytime I enter the livingroom.
It fits in our house perfectly and is everyone's new favorite spot at home.
Saturday the pillow covers that I had ordered at Stof Enzo arrived.
Hydi made two almost equal pillow covers in her lovely African fabric.
(the other one has a different print on the back)
The prints match so surprisingly well with the sofa.

This morning when I came back from running,
I kicked off my shoes and stretched out to relax on the sofa for a while...
oh yeah, this is 'lasting love'

In 2012 I will use my Adidas more frequently for running.

At least once a week, like I always did, but the last months of 2011 have seriously neglected.

Too busy is no excuse, because it gives me lots of energy.
