open doors

open doors open doors open doors

Daily routine.

Unpacking the dishwasher.
Open the kitchen cupboard doors and put everything back in place.
Nothing special, a daily recurring activity.
Yet I can see the 'fun' of this daily routine.
All the personal things, the mix of colors, the collections...

and when everything is back in place, close the doors again, because I'm allergic to open doors.

Daily life in and around Marrakech.

Carpet traders at the auction in the souk.
The carpet souk (and Ank's yellow bicyle).
Colored flour sacks.
One of the many public toilets in the medina.
The beauty of a few plastic buckets in a public toilet.
Handmade piled poufs transport.
Cheerful school children brought us a serenade.
Singing bird in a tiny street of the medina.
The green vine leaves street just around the corner of Chambres d'Amis.
An old man with an olive tree branch in the Atlas Mountains.
Brightly dressed ladies in the back of a pickup (a second later they all waved at us).
Street view with yellow taxi and a scooter transporting scrapwood.
Late in the afternoon on the Place des Epices.
Renault 4, one of the many that still drive around in Marrakech.

to the loo [toedeloe]

This beautiful basic bag I bought last year at Merci in Paris.

Because it is not convenient for shopping (transparent and everything falls out), I decided to use it for 'backup roles'.
