January 2024

Wednesday 24th of January - Rotterdam, vintage shopping at Episode, lunch at Jules and inspiration at De Galerie Rotterdam.

Saturday 27th of January - Pruning the beech hedge in the frontyard, followed by a first Risotto outdoor lunch of the year.

Sunday 28th of January - Minne's birthday, winterwalk in our picturesque hometown Dordrecht.

Tuesday 30th of January - IFFR - Cinerama - Adagio - Rome today: the Eternal City is surrounded by wildfires. In the centre, ravaged by corruption and violence, three old gangsters unite their last energies to save a boy that has failed the wrong person.

... and in between two delightful Tuesdays with sweetie Liam!

Okay the first month is over, I can't wait for spring.

dudok tiger-style

weekend weekend weekend weekend weekend weekend weekend weekend weekend weekend weekend

Rotterdam - Saturday 21st of January 2023

Dudok Rotterdam opened its doors in 1991 in a building on the Meent, designed by well-known Dutch architect Willem Marinus Dudok. A classic city café & brasserie, where you sit down for a weekend breakfast.

In the run-up to and during the 52nd IFFR edition, Dudok has been transformed into a festival cafe with film tigers all over the place and beautiful IFFR coloring page tablecloths!

Last Saturday we had breakfast with Pippa & Liam and he spotted the tigers and roared and colored our tablecloth while enjoying his breakfast.

We have booked tickets for two italian IFFR films; Nostalgia and Come pecore in mezzo ai lupi.
