><((('> fish scrubbers

Super cute souvenir from New York, practically flat, because it had to fit in the hand luggage suitcase.

I found the crocheted fish at Anthropologie

A friend and former cool crochet workhsop participant, spotted my fish post on Instagram.

><((('> fish scrubbers

She was inspired to crochet these fish scrubbers after seeing the pair of fish and she happened to find a crochet pattern. @1dogwoof wrote up a pattern for the fish scrubbers a few years back. You can find the free pattern on her blog.

And check the fishes my friend @haveeweanywool made HERE.

Don't you think they are cute?

By the way, I use them as pot holders...

marrakech theme - tea & turtle

woodwoolstool turtle pattern woodwoolstool turtle pattern

A new crochet project for the upcoming cool crochet workshop in Marrakech in October.

I've made a 'turtle' teapot holder for my moroccan teapot.

Turtles are common pets in Marrakech and in Chambres d'Amis two turtles are living in the roofgarden.

Using a turtle potholder to poor fresh verbena tea, is a cool crochet project which fits perfectly in the Marrakesh theme.

slow down

I already made a turtle pillow for the bamboo daybed last year, but that's too ambitious as a cool crochet day-project, so I designed a smaller achievable version.
