fritillaria

fritillaria fritillaria

Friday morning, 26th of February

Sunshine and fritillaria in da house, an announcement of spring.

Fritillaria are my all time favorite spring bulbs!

The delicate checkered pattern of the flowers, absolutely artwork.

skirt day

antwerp antwerp antwerp antwerp antwerp antwerp antwerp antwerp antwerp antwerp antwerp antwerp antwerp antwerp

Antwerp - 27th of February - spring-like, sunshiny Wednesday

Skirt day - or as we call it in the Netherlands; rokjesdag

In the first part of the week was as if spring had already started.
On Wednesday we decided to spend this mild and mainly sunny day in beautiful Antwerp.

Everyone was elated, but in our minds we all know that it is not normal #climatechange

Today, 2nd of March, the weather is back to 'normal' and we really have to wait until it's spring. Just a little patience, nevertheless the first skirts days were a fact.

spring fever in sunny february

spring in february spring in february spring in february

Henk brought me a huge bunch of yellow tulips from the market this morning.

The florist told him the Victorian interpretation of yellow tulips; there’s sunshine in your smile!

I have arranged the tulips in the big yellow mustard tin, which I bought on the berber market near the Atlas Mountains on my latest workshop trip in October.

On this sun-drenched Saturday in February it looks even more like spring.

The appreciation and joy in 'the little things' in life.

Cheers to the weekend!

tête-à-tête fête

confetti jansen jug tête-à-tête fête

A colorful springtime scene in the kitchen this morning.

starring:
a confetti garland that I won at confetti lab. Thanks Liza!
The tête-à-tête daffodils finally in bloom.
and a smashing jug, made by my namesake. (for sale in the Villa market)

I've already had my first spring fever.
