Cool Crochet workshop April 2018.

A photo report of our first day in the medina.

After some serious wool shopping, we had lunch on the roof of Maison de la Photographie, with a breathtaking view of the snowy Atlas mountains.

At the end of the afternoon we made palm trees under the palm trees at Le Jardin Secret, a peaceful and spacious garden in the middle of the medina, where time stands still...

rock a beanie

handmade beanieswool from the soukdordrecht

The colored wool from the souk I bought in Marrakech last year, was hanging in strands on the wall, simply being beautiful.

The strands were a bit messy and winding up bulbs was a disastrous job #*$%@&^#)#!
How did this happen? Well, at long last I had a dozen of balls of each color.

Time for the fun part. Making beanies the moroccan way, like Aisha teached us on the Place des Epices during the Cool Crochet Workshop.

I will bring some handmade beanies to the Sunday market 'De Fabriek op Zondag' at the Piet Hein Eek Factory in Eindhoven on the 31st of May.

A beanie can camouflage a bad hair day and keeps your head cozy. Whatever the weather. There's something else you should know; if you rock your beanie the right way, you will roll into any situation in style...

moroccan manner beanie

moroccan manner beanie

Nowadays i'm making moroccan manner beanies for the upcoming Sunday Market De Fabriek Op Zondag on Sunday the 31st of May at Piet Hein Eek in Eindhoven.

Working with Moroccan wool & hook is a wonderful way to swoon over the cool crochet adventures. It's an entirely different way of crochet, we have learned from Aisha on the Place des Epices.

I will bring the beanies to Eindhoven next month and hope to meet you over there!

Plenty of inspiration on day 1 of the cool crochet workshop. Moroccan hues in the Medina; an insane color explosion!

We bought wool and had our first crochet session after lunch on the panoramic roof terrace of Maison de la Photographie, overlooking Marrakech with the snowy High Atlas in the background.

white blossom magic

white blossomwhite blossomwhite blossom

White blossom.

Good thing is the blossom is blooming, the buds have already unfolded.
It often happens the tiny flowers don't open up, but just dry out.

Rosa, you did a good job and brought the perfect blossom branches!
Thanks, for a bit of spring inside the living!
