London - Friday 2nd of August - 19578 steps

In the morning we went by overground to Forest Hill, to visit the Horniman Museum & Gardens, with extensive collections of anthropology, natural history and musical instruments. After the museum visit, we bought some small African instruments for Liam in the museum shop, we walked through the large gardens with a beautiful view over London and had a drink on the terrace.

Thereafter we went to Kensington by overground and underground and after lunch we visited the Japan House and Design Museum Japan below. We really wanted to see Enzo Mari's exhibition in the Design Museum, so went to see now that we're in London. A major retrospective celebrating the life and work of one of the greatest Italian designers of the 20th century, whose designs have inspired generations of creatives around the world. We bought, Due La Pera, the Enzo Mari Pear Exhibition Poster. And outside Afra and I posed in front of our favorite Enzo Mari.

Little Imme had enough inspiration for today and together with Henk I walked to Chelsea & South Kensington. It was a lovely summer afternoon to walk through the colorful streets. Chelsea is full of beautiful mews and front gardens with flowering plants that make the pastel-colored facades even more beautiful.

At the end of the afternoon with the underground to Afra's lovely home in Leyton. In the evening with had dinner with family and friends at Figo, an Italian restaurant. And we dined in the sunshine at a long table like one big Italian family. La vita รจ bella. Life is good!
