The Y V E S T O W N * W I N T E R F A I R is approaching!
Here's one of the many new wooden x-mas trees I've made for the winterfair.
A green and eco-friendly Christmas tree, that will last for years!
Hope to see you on Sunday the 30th of November in Yvestowns garden in Lommel, Belgium.
Save the date and come to enjoy the cosy winter market full of stunning stalls and lovely folks!

I'm enchanted by the gingko tree in our front garden.
The golden leaves were hanging on the tree slightly longer than a week this fall.
Now there is a yellow gingko rug in the front yard; so awesome!
It's a gorgeous sight, the chemical changes and autumn beauty, every year again!

Saturday in the city.
Actually, we were on our way to Rotterdam.
On the highway, the car was making strange noises and we decided to drive to the garage.
We could borrow bikes and made a triftshop round in our home town Dordrecht.
The old historic center is truly beautiful.
We ate fried fish (kibbeling) on the market.
Bought some vintage Christmas decoration and a 'hard of hearing' sign (SH) and I fell in love with the x-mas windows!
At the end of the afternoon we cycled back to the garage and the car was fixed.
All in all, nothing special, but we had a pretty fun time in Dordrecht!
Voorstraat, the main and longest street of the city.

This colorful harlequin rug I've made with homemade fabric yarn, using piles of old T-shirts.
Good combination of cleanup and reuse.
It's also a very cheap way to make a striking rug!
If you fancy to make this rug for your (bath)room, all you need is a hook size 12 and a huge pile of old T-shirt or about 2000 grams of fabric yarn.
You can buy the harlequin rug PATTERN in my Etsy shop!

Curious about the woolly object in the background?
At the moment I'm writing the pattern of a lovely wooly cardigan with sleeves!
(stay tuned if you are interested)
Furthermore, I'm busy making [wood & word signs] for the upcoming Yvestown Winterfair...
PS: [ik zie u graag] in Lommel!
