Bologna - venerdì 4 aprile - 21388 passi
After breakfast a stroll to Orto Botanico. The Botanical Garden of the University of Bologna is one of the oldest in Italy.
Lunch at Signorvino. Pranzo at its most Italian, front row at Piazza Maggiore.
In the afternoon we went to Museo Morandi, located in the heart of the Manifattura delle Arti cultural district. The Morandi Museum is the biggest and most important public collection dedicated to the painter Giorgio Morandi. It was founded thanks to a considerable donation from his sister Maria Teresa Morandi and located in Palazzo d’Accursio until 2012, when it was moved to MAMbo due to renovation work.
Obviously we came especially for the impressive collection of Giorgio Morandi, the Italian painter, draftsman and etcher, known for his subtly restrained still lifes. Moreover we visited the permanent collection of Museo d'Arte Moderna di Bologna (MAMbo) and the exhibition Facile Ironia, brightly colored and very surprising!
Gelateria Galliera 49. All the locals know this gelateria as the best in town, so we had to line up for delicious ice creams.
Dinner at Scampo - Pescheria con cucina.
