Selinunte is the Italian name for the ancient Greek city Selinous.
No, we are not in our temple phase...
Although we recently admired the Acropolis in Athens, the Valle dei Templi in Agregento two days ago, and now the Templi di Selinunte. The latter, right by the sea, is my favorite, and you are actually allowed to walk right between the enormous columns. Moreover, the surrounding landscape full of wildflowers and swaying grasses is very special.
Spiaggia La Pineta in the afternoon, for a delicious lunch at the beach restaurant under the pine trees and siesta & sea.
