The multicolored chevron pillows I've made with yarn leftovers. If it's too colorful to your opinion, you can make the chevron pillow in your own favorite colors or only two contrasting colors.

psychedelic pillow

handmade woodwoolstool chevron pillow

Another unfinished project done.

The first stitches of this pillow I made last month and in the meantime I have made a mini collection of fingerless mittens.
This multicolored chevron pillow including innerpillow is now available in my ETSY SHOP.

The cushion has two different sides; the front side with multicolored (dark brown, rusty brown, orange brown, royal blue, lilac, dusty pink and ocher yellow, bright yellow, red, burgundy red, sand, turquoise and off white) chevron stripes and the back side in off white.

Would you rather make one yourself?
You can download the chevron pillow pattern in my ETSY SHOP too.

chevron cushion - another unfinished project done

chevron pillow crochet pattern chevron pillow crochet pattern

Another unfinished project done.

The first stitches of this pillow I made last May.
This chevron pillow ended up on the pile of almost unfinished projects.

And all I actually had to do, was to buy an inner cushion and sew the seam. Having 'extra' time, somehow brings so much satisfaction.

The cushion has two different sides; one white & multicolored stripes and the other one white, lilac & yellow with smaller stripes.

Fancy to make one yourself?

You can download the chevron pillow pattern in my ETSY SHOP.

PS: All patterns in my shop are still 1 euro each and I keep donating the pattern sales proceeds to a Corona fund. Since I started the 1 euro - pattern sale on March 15th, I already sold over 350 patterns, huge thanks to everyone who contributed to this 'creative' help!

wind & unwind

wind & unwind

Current crochet project.

Working with 8 balls of yarn simultaneously.
Once in a while, everything has to be rearranged thoroughly, otherwise it will end up in a very tangled mess!

Wind and unwind...

The new chevron crochet project is a challenge, requires patience and precision, yet it's getting cooler every stripe.

new cool crochet project

new cool crochet project

This weekend I've been working on a new cool crochet project.

After a crochet break, it is so much fun to start something completely new!

The newest crochet project is still in the development phase, but I think it will be cool!
You know I always like to take crochet to the next level.

Think Crochet 2.0 - a more complicated version of the chevron pillow.

More on this soon...

candy cane crochet cushion

candy cane crochet candy cane crochet candy cane crochet candy cane crochet candy cane crochet candy cane crochet

Candy cane crochet cushion.

I've been working on a diagonal stripes variant of the chevron pillow pattern with pastel pink, neon pink and neon orange yarn from Marrakech.

I started the candy cane project in June and because of a crochet-free holiday and busy weeks afterwards, it has taken more than a month to finish it, but it is ready now.

The bright colors and stripes make it a summer cushion!

the chevron pillow on repeat

chevron pillow pattern chevron pillow pattern

New chevron pillow in the making.
Since both chevron pillows I made in January have moved to Boston, USA.

Actually only one chevron pillow was listed in my etsy shop, however Gillian, a friendly customer, asked me if she could buy them both. Well I thought it's better when the pair would stick together anyway.

I miss the pillows in my studio, so I started a new pillow project the same evening. Chevron pillow on repeat, in white & colors, my best loved combination.

Fancy to make one too?

You can download the chevron pattern (with chart) in my ETSY SHOP.

atelier

atelier

Atelier. I love the sound of the elegant french word for ‘workspace’.

In the past months I've moved my workspace items, the entire wool collection, a desk, a sofa and a lot of vintage furniture to the spare room in our house. It's completely decorated with items we already stored in barn and attic. In the meantime it is slowly taking shape and it's an inspiring place and wonderful room to work. Moreover it's a great space to relax on the sofa.

It's great to have a special spot to call your 'own'.

green & pink

chevron pillow pattern - green & pink

With green & pink you can't go wrong. Those two colors compliment each other really nicely.

Actually this is the prototype of my latest chevron pillow design. I started to make this one before the two multicolored chevron pillows.
While I was working on this green & pink project, I imagined the chevron pattern would look cool with lots of colors too. And eventually I finished the multicolored ones first.

Last week I finally finished the green & pastel pink pillow... (well as a matter of fact I simply had to stitch the seams)

Using only two colors, this green & pink pillow is quite a bit easier to make, also for beginners.

time to re-decorate

woodwoolstool chevron pillow

January is the perfect month to re-decorate. Spending more time indoor, you can easily change your interior with just a few items to infuse some color and texture into your room.

You can re-arrange your existing furniture, giving your room a whole new look.
Add some new accent pillows or posters, this is the perfect time to try out new color combinations. Bright bold colors can add a warm feel to your space for the remainder of the winter months.

The new multicolored chevron pillows I've made recently, give our room a completely different look. The bright & bold colorful combinations are an example, you can make the chevron pillow in your own favorite colors or two contrasting colors.

You can download the >>>CHEVRON PILLOW PATTERN<<< from my ETSY shop.
