A few years ago we covered our bathroom floor with river stones.

It feels so good on your bare feet, it's looks very natural and the stones are very easy to clean with a broom.

Last night we stayed in the water tower.
We booked a room in the former water reservoir.
The typical iron bottom of the water basin is still visible and touchable [watch your toes!]
The hotel room has surprising details, like a staircase to the bathroom on the lower floor.
Bathing in the tub, you can play with your yellow bath duck or looking out across the rivers of Dordrecht [through the charming round window].
We had a delicious dinner, slept wonderfully and enjoyed every minute! And yes, you can have that real 'weekend break feeling' in your domicile.

The old floor will be demolished today.
