Karpathos - 19th of September

Karpathos the windy island, that's right, today wind force five.

The beach of Kyra Panagia is situated between steep cliffs, which is really breathtaking. And the gorgeous little church with red dome of the same name, watches over the village and the beach on the cliffs.

Lunch at beach restaurant Kavos and the rest of the afternoon we enjoyed the greek island life to the fullest, the sea, the beach and wind in the hair. Most likely the last beach day of the year. Bye bye beach.

Sunday 19th of June - father's day

The first coffee on the roof overlooking the 'medina' (this became a morning ritual)

And then to the bakery to surprise Henk & Joe with a father's day breakfast in the kitchen.

Packing beach gear to be right on time to take the ferry from half past 10 to Ilha do Farol.

Some among us found it quite a hassle to get to the beach by boat, but once we arrived they totally got it! Island life is so relaxed and the beaches amazingly beautiful and quiet. We spend a lovely day at the ocean together!
