sweater weather

sweater weather sweater weather

Hello October, hello autumn, hello sweater weather.

I've been raking the leaves from our walnut tree in the backyard for a few days in a row. Never before we had somy many walnuts and the walnut harvest is drying and ripening.

Today the weather is lovely and i like to 'work' in the garden.

Last weekend I swapped my summer clothes for the autumn & winter wardrobe and I found my handmade Julia sweater again.

The JULIA sweater knitting pattern I designed last year and used JULIA yarn by Zeeman, a Dutch textile super.
Julia yarn is available in 10 different colors; off-white, gray, green, lilac, yellow, red, pink, bordeaux, ocher, blue, baby blue and black. I chose lilac.

When you are a beginning knitter and you would like to knit something else than just a scarf, this is the perfect project for you!

I'm sure you are able to complete this easy-level project.
The sweater is reversible, knitted in one piece, so there are no seems on the shoulder. Both sides have a different look.

It's a great pattern for advanced knitters too, because the tricky part of putting your knitted sweater together, is a lot easier.

You can download the Julia sweater pattern in my ETSY SHOP.

lilac knitted one-piece sweater

knitted sweater lilac

First autumn day and I am in the mood to knit. Do you recognize this behavior?

I found some soft lilac yarn at Zeeman, named Julia and I decided to knit a new one-piece sweater.

It goes pretty fast with knitting needle 8mm and it's super easy to knit this one-piece sweater.

My new favorite color is lilac. It started with my lilac jumpsuit that I bought in Vienna in March. Since then I notice that it is slowly becoming my favorite color. Lilac looks great with many colors.

You can find the knitted one-piece sweater pattern in my Etsy shop. The Julia yarn is also available in other beautiful colors, in case you are not to keen about lilac. You need about 6 balls of Julia yarn for the sweater.

palmtree sweater

N E W in the Etsy shop: KNITTED PALMTREE SWEATER PATTERN

A super easy to follow pattern, even for beginner knitters.

This knitted palmtree sweater is knitted in one piece. The sweater is reversible and has no seems on the shoulder. Both sides have a different look.

For the palmtree sweater I've used an oatmeal tweed yarn, from the Dutch textile super brand Zeeman (one of my favorite yarns). It's machine washable, super soft and comfortable to wear. Yesterday evening I was wearing my palmtree sweater for the first time.

The perfect end-of-summer-sweater, but hey you can wear it all year round!
