Today is a very special mothers day, because our daughter Pippa will also become a mother at the end of October.

Pip & Joe have revealed that they will become the parents of a son yesterday.

We are all super happy with this wonderful news and are looking forward to having a baby in our family.

Pippa painted an (lemon) onesie and brought the original Opa & Oma announcement for us, when they came to share the happy news last month.

hyacinth fragrance all over the place

You should smell the fragrance of hyacinths in the kitchen and bedroom.

Henk brought out a bucket full of it from a tiny local flower shop and arranged the flowers in the vase d'Avril and the leftovers got a spot on my bedside table.

For mothers day, I got a gift from the father of my children too.
