lemon
This lemon is created by poster artist Michel Bouvet for the 35th edition of the Rencontres d'Arles, one of the largest photography festivals in the world.
Michel Bouvet creates the posters for the festival since 2002. It's a colorful series of fruits, vegetables and animals. The posters contribute to the unique visual communication of the festival.
We picked the lemon from 2004 to take home as a souvenir of the stunning photography festival we visited during our road trip.
The similarity with our lemon rug is awesome!

DeleteAh! Welcome home dear Ingrid, I have thoroughly enjoyed my armchair roadside trip with you through France and Spain (as we in England enjoy the rain and wind leftovers of Hurricane Bertha!!) Your photos are superb, you have such a good eye for composition and so does your lovely husband too, I think!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Sarah. I'm glad to read you've enjoyed the trip from your armchair ;) Cheers!
Deletereally nice!! i love the lemon print!!
ReplyDeleteBeau choix !:)
DeleteWhat a lovely sunny reminder of your trip! xx
ReplyDeleteSo cute to this our little leon here. 2004 was the first time I worked for Les Rencontres d'Arles. I have been part of the summer team for 11 years now, abd I have a soft spot for this particular poster, which I also think is the most beautiful of the series. I love to see it's cherished by others too, and it is indeed such a perfect match with your rug! All the best
