Marseille - 28th of July

Mediterranean lunch at Marseille with Henk, Minne, Souf & Wes.

Marseille is a rough southern French eatery on the quay in Rotterdam. Casual atmosphere, French vibe, pure food, decor and design are just right.

And because I like the Marseille house style with arabic punctuation so much, Henk surprised me with an early birthday present. The friendly owner agreed to sell 4 Marseille dinner plates (high exception).

We will definitely come back for a breakfast, apéro or dinner. Au revoir.

a 'striped' version of the good old baby blanket

Baby blanket inspiration.

I choose for a 'striped' baby blanket for the future babyroom of our expected grandson. A non-obvious version wich i love, after some shuffling with 36 squares on the kitchen table.

antwerp revisited

Antwerp - 20th of July 2021

We hadn't been to Antwerp since January 2020.
Last Tuesday we visited our beloved city in Belgium.
And yes it was so good to be back. We walked along all our favorite addresses.

Only an hour's drive for us, but it truly feels like a mini vacation.
