Easter brunch with the family.

Liam kept hiding the chocolate Easter eggs he found over and over again.

and no April Fool's joke; afternoon drinks in the backyard, in the sun!

April since we're back home from Morocco.

Spring in the Netherlands is not convincing yet, sometimes for a few hours, then we take every opportunity to be outside...

first day at the beach

First day at the beach this year.

Near the dunes it was warm enough to count today as a perfect beach day.

It’s almost Easter weekend and the sun is out!

Today I've been busy at Villa Augustus, working on final preparations for Easter. Arranging colorful bouquets, in large and small vases, decorating the huge chandelier in the restaurant. In the meantime it was super busy in the market shop, but in between I had a relaxed picnic lunch break in the orchard.

Barcelona in color.

The blue of the sky and the sea.

The green of the trees, the parks and the innumerable urban jungle balconies.

The yellow and black of the taxis and the red of the buses.

The pink of of all trees in bloom and the blossom carpets on the pavement. (we even came across a 'pink' greyhound dog)

The bright colors of the waving laundry, balloon vendors and street art.

And obviously the myriad colors in Gaudí mosaics...
