Shot in real locations of Isla Maciel, a notorious neighbourhood outside Buenos Aires, Gatillero is a gritty, nerve-wracking crime thriller that unfolds in real time over the course of one fateful night. Presented as a single, unbroken shot, Cris Tapia Marchiori’s second feature tracks its desperate protagonist as he navigates dense residential blocks, claustrophobic interiors and deserted nighttime streets of a town forsaken by police and politicians alike.

About the IFFR 2026 campaign: Intertwined with the city
The tiger is back for the 55th edition of the festival, inextricably linked to Rotterdam. The new campaign combines iconic Rotterdam imagery with tigers embroidered in a vibrant mix of threads, materials, and patterns.

Sunday 28th of January - Minne's birthday, winterwalk in our picturesque hometown Dordrecht.

Tuesday 30th of January - IFFR - Cinerama - Adagio - Rome today: the Eternal City is surrounded by wildfires. In the centre, ravaged by corruption and violence, three old gangsters unite their last energies to save a boy that has failed the wrong person.
