Green Gardens Workshop in a nutshell.

A week in magical Marrakech, discovering, experiencing, creating and sharing with a group of nature-loving women from around the world.
The Green Gardens Workshop is an alternative way to have a unique taste of the Red city.
Besides visiting the most diverse, courtyards, gardens and parks, we cycled through the city and the palm grove, we cooked our own veggie lunch under the banana trees, after shopping the ingredients on the local market.

In the meantime we collected 'greens', seeds and flowers for our herbarium and we also had to update our instagram accounts, haha...

It's impossible to capture this week in and around Marrakech in just a few pictures.
The sights, smells, sounds, mad adventures and fun we had together...

blooming & botanical

The second day of our botanical discoveries we headed outside the city walls of the medina.

Early morning visit to Jardin Majorelle is obviously included in the program. In our private 'greenhouse', we worked on our herbarium while enjoying coffee, tea & kaab el ghazal, delicious Moroccan pastries.

Via a gigantic colorful botanical garden out of town, we continued the green trip with our minibus, up for lunch in an ancient olive grove.

After a blissful lunch, time for a relaxing afternoon in and around the pool and a some of us made another stroll through the beautiful gardens.

At the end of the day we enter the city walls of Marrakech with a botanical afterglow.

working on my green drawing skills

This weekend I've been working on my green drawing skills.
It's so fun to do, although my sketches can still use some improvement at this point.
I've been working on the workshop-program* and all green trips are worked out in detail. Can't wait to get started with the new green adventures in and around Marrakech.
*GREEN GARDENS WORKSHOP

Six days in Marrakech! Green is the theme. Price € 675,00 per person.
The price is based on a shared twin bedroom and excluding flight ticket. It's not possible to book a single room.

green marrakech

Marrakech is called the Red City.

As you approach the airport of Marrakech by plane, I'm always surprised how green the Red City actually is.
During the last years I've visited quite some stunning gardens and oases in the medina and fell in love with the amazing green gardens of Marrakech.
For those out there, who can't or rather don't want to crochet, we will arrange an opportunity to discover Marrakesh in an alternative way next year!

Consider it a green gardens travel workshop! There are so many (unknown) gardens in and around Marrakech which we will visit during this travel workshop.
The variety of gardens is really surprising and magnificent. For all gardeners or botanical addicts this opportunity is a great way to visit and discover Marrakech.

The theme is green!
Urban Jungle lovers, this is a unique way to explore the city of Marrakech.
