Between the two workshops, I went with my sweetheart (who came over for just a few days) for a mini break to the countryside.
Our taxi driver Mohammed picked us up at the Jemaa el Fna square and within 30 minutes we arrived at Berberlodge and experienced a totally different landscape and atmosphere.

Some relaxed days to upload for the new Green Gardens workshop. Time to enjoy this unique and wonderful place, the silence, sunshine, views and a nap under the olive trees at the pool.
Just before sunset we went for a walk to climb the hill and suddenly a thunderstorm came up. We arrived in our lodge exactly in time, before the heavy rain shower...

At night there was thunder and lightning outside, while we enjoyed a delicious dinner in the dining room. Spectacular!

The next morning the sun was up and shining and we had breakfast in the garden and another lovely lazy day.

Ank & Flip came over to join us for lunch. At the end of the day we returned to Marrakech in the good old baby blue Renault 4, completely charged for new adventures.
