huge harlequin blanket pattern

huge harlequin blanket pattern

The huge harlequin blanket is finally finished!

Most of the work was done in 2017 and I 'only' had to work all parts together to make it into a blanket.

I reworked the original harlequin pattern from June 2013, so you can choose whether you want to make the large or smaller version.

You can download the renewed huge harlequin blanket pattern from my Etsy shop.

With this extensive pattern of no less than 22 pages, you can make a huge harlequin blanket, but also a mini baby blanket and everything in between. The size of the blanket is very easily to enlarge or reduce.

The huge version is for enthusiastic and eager crochet queens and a smaller version is perfect to use all yarn leftovers.

Last night it was freezing cold on the attic and I took the blanket upstairs to put it over the duvet...

United colors of the 7th Cool Crochet Workshop edition at Chambers d'Amis.

Unpacking the huge wool bags from our stock and making a new workshop display is always a fun way to get started...

On the first workshop day, we make an introducing tour in the Medina, to show our guests the way. During this walk we always visit 'wool heaven' to expand the wool stock to everyone's wishes.

Back home after 17 amazing days in and around Marrakech!

We had two terrific workshops with lots of adventures and wonderful women.
This is a photo report of the second day of the Cool Crochet workshop, when we went to the desert.
The light, changing skies and views were astonishing!
Project of the day; a crochet bikini top, what else?
Marika from Sweden won 'gold', she was the first to finish her bikini top in no time!

A desert day with a lot of fun, good food, drinks, music and dancing in bikini tops Γ‘nd a whole lot of animals (horses, camels, scarabeo's and Ank's puppy Flip)

Altogether beyond beautiful!

PS: Lost my phone in Marrakech and unfortunately couldn't post on Instagram since the 12th of May. So i've been offline for a while (actually quite relaxing). My new iPhone is on it's way, so soon i will be back on social media.

travel workshop marrakech travel workshop marrakech travel workshop marrakech travel workshop marrakech travel workshop marrakech

I'm off to Marrakech.

From Wednesday - Monday we will travel in and around Marrakech with our wool baskets to experience new adventures.

I'm looking forward to stay in Marrakech for a whole week and absorb all the colours, sounds and flavors. It's the 6th edition of the Cool Crochet Workshop and meeting new fellow crocheteers and seeing friends again in Marrakech is a blast.

(and October is the pomgranate season)

No new posts or updates on my blog for a while but you can follow our adventures on Instagram. #coolcrochetworkshop #woodwoolstool

wood & wool office

wood & wool office

Welcome to my wood & wool office.

Here's my desk, an old French table that we already have for more than 20 years.
I've cleaned up the office a bit, before I took the photo. The vintage sorting cabinet (once wool cabinet) is a bit tidier than usual.
You can just see the white JieldΓ© desk lamp.
On my Bertoia chair, I write my blog posts and do most of my wood & wool 'office' work.

It's a bright spot in the middle of our living room. I'm not complaining...

#woodwoolstool - printic give away

printicprinticprinticprintic

This reminds me of the Polaroid pictures my parents made in the seventies!

It's so much fun to have printed pictures from your Instagram and smartphone snaps!

Printic offered me 10 free prints and a GIVE AWAY for my blog readers! Today I received the orange envelope with some of my Instagram prints and I've stuck them on our wooden bedhead.

In a few words, Printic allows you to print polaroid pictures from you smartphone and send them to any recipient you want. The app is user-friendly: simple and cute interface, only one price, one format and free delivery worldwide.

Printic uses traditional wet laboratories, that's why the prints are of a very high quality. You can watch the Printic video to have a better idea about the concept.

You can leave a comment on this post and the winner will get the coupon code for 10 FREE prints!

This give away is C L O S E D.
