el limón
Bobo Choses is a super cool brand from sunny Spain and I’m a huge fan. I’ve discovered their home collection a while ago in Paris and I’m especially loving the fruit rugs. The rugs are handmade and look cool not just as rugs but also as wall hangings.
Each collection is linked to a story or fairy tale. The current collection is based on the story about the neighborhood supermarket of Jean Gustav, where he sells the most delicious tomatoes, yellowest lemons and tastiest smelling freshly baked bread. So we decided to have the lemon rug for our home, it refreshes our living and perfectly disguises all tiny holes of the previous alphabet wall.

easter knickknacks
We eat chocolate eggs for months now, this is the umpteenth refill.
Our little Easter bunny shines already for a few weeks on the mirror (comes from the Gemeentemuseum shop in The Hague).
A Villa Augustus Easter invitation illustrated by Dorine de Vos.
The tiny red Berger anisette we found at the flea market in Lille, does not have much to do with Easter, but fits finely between our jugs collection.

highlights
The two huge chandeliers at the entrance of the Museum of Fine Arts in Lille are designed by Gaetano Pesce.
Some technical details; Weight of each chandelier is 3600 kilograms. Total area of the glass tiles is 263 m2. Diameter of the chandelier is not less than 7 meters.
'Les Lustres' are my personal highlights of the museum.

lille
Two days in Lille. The company weekend trip was very cool despite the freezing cold (this is the winter of woolen hat!) We walked through the old town, shopped around and visited the flea market and museum of fine arts.

antwerp pleasure
This weekend niece Safi was staying with us. Saturday after breakfast we drove to Antwerp and had a great day together. We started with hot chocolate at Vitrin, visited the M HKA museum and we walked through the city. The atmosphere in Antwerp is always pleasant!

out of an egg
This year I have decorated the Easter chandelier at Villa Augustus with tiny pink baby chicks, sitting on their eggs. So cute!

today
This morning I did not have to get up early and lazed on my around the world pillow (cute pillow-swap with Stof Enzo), I made a wood & wool fringe hanger for a Californian baby and Henk brought me some super scrapwood from his today's wood hunt.

bedroom boucherouite
Following the post about the new harlequin boucherouite, which I have made for our living room, I've got lot's of questions about the handmade rug. Today there's a new boucherouite for the bedroom (or bathroom, or nursery or hallway).
The harlequin rug pattern is for sale in my Etsy shop!
