Malaga - Tuesday 20th of June - 16788 steps

Breakfast with a view on the doorstep. So soothing to start the day by the sea every morning.

Grocery shopping and a morning walk through the brightly colored streets of El Palo.

Coffee at La Machina in Pedregalejo and then continue cycling to Malaga.

We visited the Soho district, known for its street art and went to CAC Malaga (Centro de Arte Contemporaneo) and the exhibition Las Flores Lavajes by Jorge Galindo.

Drinks on the roof terrace with exclusive views of the city at H10 Croma Malaga hotel.

Before the bike ride back to El Palo, another ice cream at the Playa la Malagueta.

Dinner by the sea at Restaurante Narval; paper checkered tablecloths, calamari, prawns, paella... Love it!

La última copa de la noche with boquerones on the doorstep.

Malaga - Monday 19th of June - 14531 steps

Waking up to the sound of the sea.

Breakfast on the doorstep in front of our beach house.

By bike along the coast to Malaga center, on the way drinks at Baños del Carmen.

Coffee & cola at restaurant El Jardin 1887.

We visited the surprising [Mr. Gunter, the cat show] exhibition by Javier Calleja in the Centro Cultural, fundacion Unicaja.

After lunch at restaurant El Chinitas, we cycled back to our casa in El Palo.

Pack our bag, beach chairs under the arm, cross the street and we are on the beach!

We made fresh gazpacho and a salad at home and later we had a coffee in the evening sun.

Sunset walk on the beach with helado to go.

Malaga - Sunday 18th of June - 18123 steps

Easy morning flight at 8am from Rotterdam to Malaga.

Taxi to El Palo, in eastern Málaga, 6 kilometres from the historical city centre of Malaga.
El Palo still retains the essence of a traditional seafaring neighbourhood.

We rented an adorable authentic house located directly on the beach, for the next ten days.

After a drink at the beach we went grocery shopping at Dia supermercado, to stock the fridge. Lunch with a homemade salad in front of our casa.

Afternoon walk to explore the neighborhood and boulevard, with its many fish restaurants. Super traditional without frills, fresh fish is prepared in the bbq-boats everywhere on the beach.

Coffee with a view on the bench in front of our beachhouse while we observed the local Sunday afternoon life.

Dinner at 10pm at Los Cuñaos. Berenjenas, boquerones, ensalada pimientos. Disfrute...
