Marrakech - 31st of March - 34 degrees celsius - 17982 steps

Breakfast at Chambres d'Amis, my favorite place in the medina to start the day.

Coffee & lemon cake at Cafe Dar El Bacha in Musée des Confluences. You can choose from countless types of Marvelous Moroccan moka and get your own golden coffee pot which contains at least 3 cups of coffee. And when you have finally made your choice, there are more choices left to look for chic cakes from the luxury display case...
We choose The Monkey Warrior & The Black Amarena coffee and tartelette citron & cake tranche citron (2 slices). Furthermore, the waiters all look exquisitely sleek in their outfits! Sometimes you have to wait a while for a table, but that's no problem at all because you can walk around in the impressive museum and get a buzzer, so you know exactly when it's your turn.

Lunch at a simple and authentic petit restaurant in the souk.

One last drink on the patio and we checked out of chambre cinq. We moved by tuktuk from Chambres d'Amis in the medina to hotel Moro in Gueliz. Habib waved us goodbye!

First a refreshing dip in the pool and we moved into our super cool M ⚫ R ⚫ suite, with 2 round windows. Seventies vibes! (I am still obsessed with the windows)

After 3 days in the hustle and bustle of the medina, it was a relief to laze around the pool and relax. Il dolce far niente.

Without a plan we went exploring Gueliz and after sunset we ended up at Mamma Mia, in the purest Italian trattoria style. Buon appetito!

We're not even halfway and we've already seen and experienced so much. What a blast!
