February 15th of 1986, the day we first met.
In the weeks that followed, we sent each other cards & letters, spoke occasionally on the landline and took pictures with cameras.
Love grew and we traveled by train to see each other, weekends in The Hague and Zwolle alternated.
Today, 15th of February 2026, and yes, it's really been 40 years since it all began... So much love came out of it.
