old school

A wonderful old school building in my hometown is being transformed into apartments.

The sad thing is, they will be building way too many apartments, which ruines the whole atmosphere.

Last Saturday we were daydreaming about 'our new residence' in for example two of those huge and high classrooms, imagine the possibilities...

...the kitchen say in the middle of the room,
oh all that space and gigantic high ceilings,
bedrooms and bathroom in the room next door...
etcetera

We took pictures of the beautiful old details, had fun and fantasized a little bit.

During the walks through Berlin, I often thought of this song.

The Reichstag dome is the large glass dome at the very top of the Reichstag building.

The dome has a panoramic view of the surrounding Berlin cityscape.
