and off to the kunsthal

Friday - 11th of June - Rotterdam

Finally we can go to the museum again, after months of lockdown.

We missed it.

A few weeks ago we booked our first 2021 museum visit, we start at the Kunsthal, where we went for the last time in November.

We were treated to some nice exhibitions in the Kunsthal. Erik Matthijsen's exhibition is by far my favorite, i love his style, colors and objects.
I discoverd his work for the first time at the Stedelijk Museum Schiedam in August 2019. Piece by piece colorful and inspiring paintings of everyday objects.

We celebrated the first museum visit in 2021 with a 'delizioso' italian lunch at Osteria Vicini.

So happy with these 'returned joys of life'. It feels so good to be able to do the things that used to be so normal...

veni vidi vicini

Sunday we enjoyed lunch at Osteria Vicini in Rotterdam.
Vicini is an Italian local restaurant with a 'mercato' full of delights.(where we bought a little bag of Sale Marino al Rosmarino after lunch)

Nice atmosphere, even better food.
(thanks for the great tip Lammie; the pasta and pizza were indeed divine!)
