It's my birthday with bright birthday bunting arranged by Mika, as a surprise and unwrapping presents at the family breakfast.

We took the overground to Camden Road and walked to Primrose Hill, one of my many favourite places in London. Coffee & lemon cake with poppy seeds at table 1 at Ripe Kitchen on Regent's Park Road to celebrate my birthday.

We walked through Regent's park to Marylebone and had an Italian lunch with prosecco on the terrace at Ristorante Carlotta.

In Bond Steet we took the Central Line to Bethnal Green, to stroll around in Brick Lane, Shoreditch and Colombia Road.

We shared some Portuguese dishes for dinner in the garden at A Portuguese Love Affair and then went 'home' again to Leyton with the Central Line.

What a wonderful birthday full of inspiration and fun.

It has now been a week since we hung out in London.
We had 4 full days, that's perfect! You have more time to visit some museums (Tate Modern and Victoria & Albert), to shop, to lunch, to relax on a terrace with tea and carrot cake, visit a football match, to enjoy the view of Primrose Hill and even to run in the park on Sunday morning.
