Sunday 9th of June - 18396 steps
Delize al limone for breakfast. Yesterday we chose this popular Amalfi Coast cake at Dolceria Pantaleone, the best patisserie in Salerno. Initially intended as a dessert, but you can also have it for breakfast, it's Sunday.
On Sunday morning we went once more to the beautiful city park for espresso and afterwards we walked to the other parts of Salerno, we had not yet discovered.
Lunch at La Tavola dei Ricordi, what a place! Our last lunch in Salerno at 'the table of memories' with old-fashioned traditional dishes, made and sometimes even served by nonna herself. never to be forgotten.
This late and extensive lunch calls for a siesta at home in our beautiful house.
Another aperitivo on our neighborhood square in the historic center and watch people who are also enjoying their Sunday in the evening sunlight.
We really really want to cook and have dinner at home on this last night. So we do some shopping and empty the fridge, because tomorrow we take the Monday morning train to Naples and next back home.
Naples and Amalfi coast, we will definitely come back someday, because we are not done here yet.
