moonrise in the desert
On day 3 we made a roadtrip to the desert.
Once arrived, we were surprised by the silence in the desert. All you can hear are a few birds and nothing else...
We enjoyed a delicious lunch in a traditional Berber tent and we all felt princesses. After lunch we had a relaxing moment and some of us even had a dip in the pool.
Desert Crochet and tea, sunbathing and more tea & lemonade drinks, we went up the hill for the sunset.
(the sunset was over before we knew it)
In the evening when it was getting dark, we prepared ourselves for the return trip to Marrakech. Right before we arrived at the minibus, we were treated to something unique, a magical moonrise. Behind the hill the full moon was rising and illuminated the desert. A truly memorable experience!
