Rooftop breakfast and diary drawing by Henk quickly became a daily reposeful ritual.
Making plans for the day over coffee with homemade fig pie at the local coffee shop, followed by another walk through peaceful, quiet and non-touristy Matino.
Along the coastal road we drove south to Ugento Regional Natural Park and ended up at Lido Pineta, a sandy beach among the pine trees.
fabulous dinner at Foscolo, a restaurant, cocktail bar and art gallery. And we had another drink on the atmospheric piazza near our casa. Saluti!
