On the on last day of MM2021 another exciting highlight: Scarabeo camp!

A daytrip to the stone desert with a fabulous Moroccan lunch in the shade of a berber tent. Imagine a charming bivouac with original berber tents and a view to completely unwind. You don’t often find yourself at such magical surroundings that it makes you wonder… Is this a movie set? The light, changing skies and views are astonishing!

Well we didn't just have lunch and laze all day long of course... While enjoying the 'lunar landscape' we were also creative and the xs woodwoolstools we brought with us, were dressed with unique handmade outfits, all with their own style.

And the pool side was the most perfect setting for a cool crochet catwalk at the end of the day.

What a splendid Scarabeo day...

An early morning visit to Jardin Majorelle, to enjoy the beautiful garden and birdsongs, before the invasion of the tourists. As soon as it gets busier, we find a quiet spot on the sunny terrace of Café Majorelle for coffee, cookies and crochet class.

Before noon we move on to the desert to have lunch at La Pause and stay there until sunset. Chillin' and bikini top crochet class on the program.
The wide view of the desert hills was a completely different sight this time. Definitely not the first thing you have in mind when you think of a desert landscape....

Due to the unusual amount of rain in Morocco in the last few months, the desert was covered with a green layer. A beautiful sight, especially with the snow-covered Atlas mountain peaks in the background. And of course it's great for nature and agriculture, they got a necessary portion of rain and the people in Morocco are grateful for it!
