Sunday in Lisbon.

After breakfast we went for a long, long walk along rio Tejo to LX Factory, under the famous 'Ponte 25 de Abril'.
My favorite photo was taken under the bridge, from where you have a spectacular view on the river and Alameda.

After the walk in the blazing sun, we were rewarded with lots of street art on the LX Factory grounds and had a delicious lunch at Cantina LX.

We even walked back all the way to our apartment through the Santos district.

Walking for hours, from district to district, going up and down is the best way to explore Lisbon. Another photoreport of day 3.

Roadtrip Portugal 2016.

When we planned our roadtrip last winter, we knew it had to end in Lisbon. We have been 4 times in Lisbon during the last 20 years and last year we truely fell in love with Lisboa.

Six days and nights we stayed in our favourite appartment in Baixa House. Surprise, surprise, we even met our niece Safi. Couldn't be better.
On our first evening we had drinks at the rio Tejo and the next morning breakfast together, before Safi went back home.

It's so cool when you know you have plenty of time to enjoy the city and don't have to do 'everything' in just a few days. We both love the city-life and walked for hours from 'quiosque' to 'miradouro' to 'jardim' to terrace for another 'imperial' or espresso with pastel de nata.
