As long as she can write,
about anything and everything.
Sometimes in the evening
I find notes like these on top of the stairs;
"Please, please can I have a dog?" (or kitten)
"Mom do you want to wake me up tomorrow at 7:00?"
"Sorry....... xxx"

But yesterday when I got home from work late,
she surprised me again with an 'old-fashioned' one.

for you at school, hihi!
see you tomorrow ♥
love you Pips!"

The same thirteen year old daughter,
who I sometimes caught late at night sending tweets to her friends
(while I was thinking she's already asleep for hours).

I love that pink flower but the sweet note even more!

I'm a fan of the ampersand and Piet Hein Eek.

The ampersand is cool and my favorite character, even if it is not a real character.

In HTML the & always looks a bit strange, with 'amp' stuck behind.

& about Piet Hein Eek:
Besides all the scrap wood designs, this table lamp is one of my favorites too.

The wire lamp with Italian silk tie shade is a stunning design and I'm not fan of neckties.
Never thought I ever could be so happy, accompanied by an orange dotted tie.

The Villa Augustus market cafe was closed the last three days, to undergo refurbishment.
An excellent chance for all market colleagues to get together.
We had a delicious 'around the world diner' at Andrea's beautiful home on Tuesday.
Everyone had brought something and the hodgepodge of dishes tasted surprisingly good together.

Today the renewed market café is open again!
