Moroccan crochet lesson on the Place des Epices is also a part of the Cool Crochet workshop.

While one group was making striped mittens at the café next door with me, the other group was taught how to make a Moroccan style hat by lovely Aïsha.

We changed lessons halfway, so everyone knows how to make a cool hat and mittens before winter.
It's so amusing and interesting (and sometimes confusing) to see how different the two crochet-techniques are.

The reward for this crochet challenge was a delicious tajine lunch, followed by shopping in the souk.
