Meanwhile, this is the progress of the marrakech stool cover,
which is inspired by a vintage Moroccan bread basket, that started here and soon will cover our 'home stool'.

wood & wool hangers
The famous Egmont rabbit lamp and the slightly less famous Gelukshaas (Lucky Hare), handmade by Isabel Lammerts. The vintage school table is from Indonesia and the wood & wool hangers are made by me. (this stuff is certainly not just for the little ones)

happy hare, blue buttons & mollie makes
Isabel Lammerts makes Lucky Hares ('gelukshazen') of Chinese newspapers and gives them outfits of recycled colored paper.
She will soon travel the world with her family and remains making 'gelukshazen' during her trip, using local newspapers. You can order the unique handmade hares at her shop 'vergeet-me-niet'.
The blue buttons are from Lammie sells and the cobalt blue color blends beautifully with the new 'beach house' wall.
Mollie makes me proud publishing my work in issue two. Mollie Makes is about Living & Loving handmade and it's a good read and inspiration for all crafty souls.
I'm a fan and will definitely subscribe to the magazine, because it's not for sale in the Netherlands (yet).

happy 2011
Today is the last day of 2010 and I am used to the space between 20 and 10 on the clock. The year has flown!
Yesterday Pippa was my personal assistant on the last flowerday of the year. In the morning we went to the flower auction for flowers & bulbs. When we arrived at Villa we first had lunch with Naïma in the marketcafe.
We brought all kind of bulbs for the shop and some cute four leaf clover plants for happiness in the new year!
Wishing everyone a happy 2011!

happy easter
To be honest I'm not too fond of over-decorated easter branches, so I've made my own version with cherry blossom and lucky hare made by vergeet-me-niet. Also a little 'finger puppet' knitted hare, a pink rooster whistle (without the flute) and a funny windup hare in front, who makes somersaults.
To make the Easter atmosphere complete, there are of course some chocolate eggs, the white and milk chocolate eggs always run out faster and that's ok because I prefer the leftover dark eggs anyway.
