My workspace is featured in the new S T U D I O book by author Sally Coulthard, published by Jacqui Small.

It's a very inspiring book about creative workspaces for creative people. I'm very happy and proud to be one of the creative people in this book.
You can find lots of bright ideas from the real-life studios of artists, crafters, designers, writers and painters.

A workplace is a place that feeds your imagination. Creating a perfect studio won't happen overnight, it's a growing process and that's how it should be.

A lifestyle tour guide book along all the provinces in the Netherlands.
You can buy this smart 'keep issue' with the newest VT Wonen issue for next to nothing.
Highly recommended; a magazine packed with fun addresses.
(and it was a nice surprise to find myself at work on the Villa Augustus page)

Socks in heels. Stipes on stripes. I like it a lot, those unusual combinations.

The red shoes are already ten years old and I hardly wear them, since the sneakers made their entry in my shoe collection.
Every now and then I bring them out of the shoe rack.

This weekend I started to read The Year of the Runaways.
The English translation of a novel by Sunjeev Sahota.
I received the book from India in the mail last week.
Just a few months ago I got a request from Bhavi Mehta to use my [red suitcase] photo from London for the cover of the book.
She said the picture is just right for the story.
I like those unexpected surprising twists.

Publication Little Thing magazine issue 43 winter.

Little Thing is a cool Chinese magazine, about interior, fashion, illustration and inspiration.

Yesterday evening during dinner at the kitchen table with my family, I received Little Thing magazine all the way from China!

A publication on wood & wool stool in collaboration with Emily Chalmers, following the publication in November in the Autumn issue about Villa Augustus.

Anew it's super fun! and i still can not read a word, except for the names, which are not translated into Chinese...

Emily Chalmers (http://www.caravanstyle.com/) and her family stayed at hotel Villa Augustus in the spring of 2015.
Emily and I met by chance in the market shop and I offered to give her a tour.
We had a lovely afternoon and walked through the garden and visited a number of rooms in the water tower. During our tour, I was interviewed by Emily and meanwhile her husband Chris Richmond took photos.
This eventually turned into a beautiful publication about Villa Augustus in the Chinese magazine Little Thing.
Last week I received Little Thing magazine all the way from China and was pleasantly surprised, although I can not read a word... (well except the English headers)

About 6 months ago Sarah Lou of Lapinblu introduced me to at{mine}. Super sweet Sarah Lou was one of last April's Cool Crocheteers and we had lots of fun in Marrakech.

She told me about at{mine} and the concept of real interiors. Photography of real homes was something that appealed to me. Pure inspiration, just the way I like it.

At{mine} is an online community for home and design lovers, where members do the sharing. A way to discover beautiful real homes and the stories behind them, and find out where to shop the products you love.

I'm flattered to contribute to this month's k i t c h e n series and I hope you like our house as it looks 'in everyday life'...
